Battlefield 7: Huge list of weapons and vehicles leaked, developer reveals first details about tank balance

The biggest wave of information about weapons and vehicles to date is now spilling out of the Battlefield Labs playtest.

After we were able to identify some of the weapon models in the first major leak of Battlefield 7, there is now a whole flood of details about the game’s arsenal.

Where did this come from? A well-known data miner has discovered the extensive list of weapons and vehicles from the new Battlefield in the Labs environment and shared it via social media.

How reliable are the leaks?

The new information comes from a user named Temporyal, who has already made a name for himself in the community with accurate leaks about past installments such as Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield 5.

However, he himself admits that not all weapons will necessarily be included in the final release version.

So enjoy the list with a healthy dose of skepticism, after all, Battlefield 7 is still in the Alpha (and doesn’t even have a final title).

First details on tank gameplay from the developer

In the first gameplay leaks from Battlefield Labs, it was revealed that tanks regularly have to stop at supply points to refill their ammunition – so the supply is not endless and forces the tank crew to retreat regularly.

In response to a fan’s request to remove this feature because it already worked poorly in BF5, lead producer David Sirland reacts:

We want balanced and powerful tanks that live up to their name. Besides ammo, there will be other things that keep tankers on their toes. This approach is not new to BF5, but already existed at the time of Battlefield 2. The key to a good version [of this feature] is the placement of supply stations. They should be a resource that you conquer on the map.

Sirland sees the supply stations of tanks as a mission objective that the two teams will actively compete for in order to give their tanks a logistical advantage.

He emphasizes that BF Labs is being used to balance the ammunition supply, armor, speed and abilities, as well as the balance against anti-tank weapons of the infantry. So there will likely be no endless ammo for vehicles.
