Is Season 7 in Modern Warfare coming?
A large part of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare player base was certain that Season 6 would be the last season of the game. Was it with new content or is there still hope?
Yes there is hope! Already in July, Call of Duty-Insider Modern Warzone found information in the game code which indicated that there should be 7 Seasons in total.
There are currently 7 seasons in the files for #ModernWarfare and #Warzone.

In addition, some hints have already appeared in the game, which suggest that another season is coming. If you have played through the Halloween event “Haunting of Verdansk” and found all hidden things on the map, you will get this hint in the game. Here the developers point to a seventh season.
When does the new season start?
An exact release date is not yet known and we can only speculate. The Battle Pass of the current season will run until November 23rd at 7pm.
In the past, Activision usually released the new updates the following day at 8am. It would therefore be conceivable that the new season would start on November 24th at 8am.
Two new weapons leaked
Also some contents of the new season have already been found in the code by data-miners. For example there are first informations about new weapons. To be exact, two were found. Very fitting, considering that exactly two new weapons were unlockable in the Battle-Pass before, too.

The first weapon looks a little bit like the Scorpion EVO from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, but there is a lot of evidence that the weapon is making a comeback in Modern Warfare with a new look.
The second weapon could be a new Light Machine Gun because of the large drum magazine on the side.
Information about new operators
Besides new weapons there were a lot of new operators in the Battle Pass in the past. There is already insider information about this as well.

By soap is meant John “Soap” MacTavish. He is a main character of the Call of Duty story, which was first seen in Modern Warfare 1 and also in the third part of the Modern Warfare series.
Furthermore there are already rumors about a second operator called “Spark”. But we don’t know more detailed information about his appearance or his origin yet.
What happens with the multiplayer?
According to the developers’ own statements, the Warzone mode, besides Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, will be the main focus for new content. But what happens to the Modern Warfare multiplayer?
The map “Killhouse” from Call of Duty Mobile was discovered in the game code and could push the multiplayer once again.
According to insiders, some maps are also being planned for the two-on-two mode “Gunfight”. But it is not yet known exactly which ones these are.
