A CoD player vents his anger at his poor internet connection on the social media platform X – and thus brings the boss of a provider onto the scene.
User JimmyBLLT on X, formerly Twitter, probably didn’t expect this. On a whim, he challenged a French billionaire to a duel.
The showdown was to take place in the parking lot of a discount store in Marseille in southern France. And against all expectations, the billionaire showed up – quite annoyed and apparently willing to accept the challenge
“I’m waiting for you”
It all started with a post on the social media platform X. The user JimmyBLLT had, according to his own statements, lost a few games of CoD Black Ops 6 because his internet connection was lagging. He then lost his temper.
Xavier Niel je te déteste je te propose un 1v1 devant le Lidl de la rue Sainte à Marseille

Instead of complaining to his provider’s customer service, the X-User chose to take the short route and complained directly to the top with the following message:
Xavier Niel, I hate you. I suggest we meet in front of the Lidl on Rue Sainte in Marseille.
Xavier Niel, the target of this unflattering message, is the founder and president of the internet service provider Illiad. And he obviously didn’t want to take this lying down.
Because Niel responded to this challenge and posted a photo of himself in front of the discount store in question, with the caption, “I’ll wait for you.”

Shortly thereafter, JimmyBLLT responded by writing: No, I’m sorry. That was a joke.
But Niel didn’t give up and was completely unimpressed by this. In response, the billionaire sent a video in which he visibly demanded that the X-User show his face.
Where are you? Come on! Shall we meet in the parking lot?
But the CoD player was apparently not very interested in this invitation. Rather, JimmyBLLT shared
I would love to, but I have a temperature of 34.2, a stomach ache and a headache. Sorry, I give up.
The absurd story was, of course, followed and commented on by some users at X. And the account ofLidl France also posted about it :
The man who has been tweeting in front of the store on Rue Sainte in Marseille since this morning should please be picked up.
The post from the well-known discount store chain also caused amusement among some X-Users. Especially since Xavier Niel is celebrated for his humor in some of the comments under his picture and video. JimmyBLLT, meanwhile, writes with a touch of irony under the Lidl post: “Sorry guys, this is my fault.”
