The CX-9 has just been officially released and has directly received a buff. We reveal just how powerful the submachine gun is now in Warzone.
Most players haven’t unlocked or levelled up the CX-9 in Warzone yet, as the weapon was buggable for some players. On the official Twitter of the developer studio Raven has announced that the bug will be fixed.
In addition, the developers are also donating a buff to the submachine gun, even though the weapon has just entered the game.
Then on 5 August, the developers at Raven Software posted a tweet announcing weapon changes for the Krig 6 and the CX-9.
🛠️ We have pushed an update to #Warzone with a couple Weapon tweaks 🙂
Krig 6 (BOCW)
Lower Torso Multiplier decreased from 1.1 to 1
Maximum Damage Range decreased from 1500 to 1400CX-9 (MW)
Increased mid damage range from 20 to 21
Increased Headshot Multiplier from 1.4 to 1.45— Raven Software (@RavenSoftware) August 5, 2021
The CX-9 got a direct buff for more damage, even though it didn’t need it. Even before that it was on the same level as the MAC-10.
The increased damage for headshots and at medium range makes the new submachine gun even more suitable as a sniper support or close combat option. We therefore recommend that you include the weapon in your loadout.
