Atlanta FaZe is back at the top of the Call of Duty League. On Sunday, 5/16, they beat the New York Subliners in the finals of the third major with a solid 5-2.
The win not only earned FaZe $200,000 in prize money, but promoted them back to first place in the season standings.
FaZe makes the revenge perfect
For the first time, Team Atlanta had to qualify for the finals from the loser’s bracket, as they previously lost to the New York Subliners in the winners bracket.
After defeating Toronto Ultra in the Loser’s Bracket, they made the most of their second chance and finished the third stage with a revenge win against the team from New York.
