A developer from Sledgehammer Games released a possible hint of a FOV slider in Warzone. Here is all the info on the tease.
Many gamers are eagerly waiting for a FOV slider on consoles. There’s a good reason for that, because the setting expands the field of view and allows you to see more. This was always a big problem before, because PC players have this setting and Call of Duty: Warzone offers crossplay. Thus, PC players had an advantage.
It is therefore understandable that console players would like to have this setting for the new part. However, there is a reason for the missing FOV slider. The increased field of view means that the console has to render more, which was previously not possible due to the technical limitations of the last-gen consoles.
But owners of a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S can now rejoice. Senior development director Adam Iscove of Sledgehammer Games has published a screenshot of the upcoming FOV slider in Call of Duty: Vanguard. The developer posted the hint on his personal Twitter account:

In the picture you can see the setting for a FOV slider on the PlayStation. The Sledgehammer Games account and the official Call of Duty account also commented on the image and confirmed the feature for multiplayer.
However, the FOV slider will only be available in Call of Duty: Vanguard at release. Unfortunately, the field of view settings are not available at the start of the beta. Whether this setting will then also be available in the Battle Royale Warzone is also uncertain.
Nevertheless, the probability is very high, as the developers are updating the Warzone engine to integrate functions from Vanguard.
