Many players are reporting problems because they simply can’t see the map anymore due to the glaring sun.
Too many sun rays are not only harmful for the skin, but also for the gameplay. In the current update in Call of Duty: Warzone, players are blinded by an extremely bright sun and its reflected light (glare). At times, the light is so bright that the gameplay can hardly be recognised. Players are therefore calling for the luminous star to be generated.
Not yet fixed despite complaints
The developer Raven Software has been aware of the problem for some time, but it has still not been fixed. Lead VFX artist Reed S. explained in late May that he could adjust the brightness of the lens flare. However, he could not control the blur, cloud rays and the brightness of the sun itself.
Looks like I know what I'm doing on Monday. I'm happy to look and address any VFX concerns. Thanks for the feedback. I don't have the power to change the entire lighting of the map though. Lighting feedback can be sent to @RavenSoftware #Warzone

At least the problem is now with the company and could soon be solved for the benefit of the players – if the issue is taken seriously. Until then, however, the bright sun also has an advantage: snipers who hide in buildings and want to shoot quickly out of a window are also strongly blinded by it.
