With Season 3, the reintroduction of Rebirth Island is also imminent and with it the new Infil Strikes event. But what is this mysterious event all about? We took a closer look and reveal why it could make Rebirth Island even more exciting.

Initial leaks and speculation have now become a joyful reality. Rebirth Island will celebrate its comeback in Warzone together with Season 3.
However, after the release of the trailer on March 26, some players noticed that the developers had apparently made a few changes to the extremely popular map from 2020. For example, the central prison wing was completely destroyed and barely recognizable
However, as the developers assured X, Rebirth Island will remain in its original state with the exception of some minor graphics and gameplay updates to improve the game experience.
But what’s with the strange changes then? As Raven Software explain in their post, so-called Infil Strikes will occur on rare occasions during Season 3.
This dynamic event will change one of three possible POIs at the start of a match. As we have already seen in the trailer with the prison, for example, it has been completely destroyed and now even offers a clear view of the sky

The developers left open the probability of the event being triggered. They also did not reveal which other locations are affected apart from the prison.
