With cans of the energy drink Monster, you can get a weapon blueprint, operator skins and double XP.
A Monster Energy promotion is giving buyers of the drinks a range of exclusive rewards in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 even before the release.
We explain how the promotion works, what you need to look out for and what content you can unlock this way.
When does the promotion run?
The promotional Monster tins with the codes will be delivered to retailers by December 31, 2024 and will only be available in remaining stock afterwards.
The codes can be redeemed immediately, but will expire definitively on May 31, 2025.
Anyone who redeems a code before the game is released will find the unlocked content and tokens in the Black Ops 6 menu from launch day on October 25.
What CoD rewards are available from Monster Energy?
Theoretically, you can redeem an unlimited number of codes, with each additional code redeemed unlocking a new reward. Here is an overview of the contents:
- First can: Monster-style LR 762 Sniper weapon blueprint + 2XP (15 min)
- Second can: Monster-style Park Operator skin + 2XP (15 min)
- Third can: Monster-themed weapon vinyl + 2XP (15 min.)
- Fourth can: Monster-themed blue operator skin + 2XP (15 min.)
- Fifth can: Monster-themed weapon vinyl + 2XP (15 min.)
- Sixth can: Monster-themed white Operator skin for Park + 2XP (15 min.)
- Seventh and all additional tins: 2 XP tokens each (15 min.)
There is a limit to the XP boosts; a maximum of 40 hours of 2XP can be redeemed in total.
What cans do I need for this?
You can find the codes on all Monster promotional cans with the Black Ops 6 logo on the back. These are exclusively the 500 ml cans with a striking black ring cap on the top.
Where can I find the code on the can?
The codes are hidden on the underside of the cap after opening the can. Make sure you only buy cans with the corresponding promotional cap – there is no code on the normal silver caps and you will get nothing!
How do I redeem my code?
Step 1: To redeem the codes, you have to register at callofduty.monsterenergy.com . Once the account is active, you can enter your codes from the cans there after logging in.
Step 2: A token will then be generated, which you can redeem at callofduty.com/redeem You will need your Activision login to do this.
Step 3: Once you have activated the token, the reward is available to you in the game.
The advertising partnership between Call of Duty and Monster is not new: almost every year, the beverage company offers in-game rewards for the shooter. The last time there was a similar promotion was in Modern Warfare 3, whose title and logo had even been leaked by Monster Energy.
