In Call of Duty, the next big crossover event is coming up. This time, the Ninja Turtles are on the way, but they have a hefty price tag on their turtle shell.
In Call of Duty, the Turtles are on the loose. In Warzone and Black Ops 6, a new event will take place after the mid-season update on February 20, 2025, in which Activision is once again teaming up with a major brand.
There are skins for Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, so the four heroes in Half-Shell and of course Splinter, oversized mouse and master of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles However, if you want to get them all, you have to dig deep into your pockets and some fans don’t like that at all.
“Despicable” – new CoD event disappoints with high prices
As with the collaboration with the Netflix series Squid Game in the previous season, the Turtles event includes not only skin bundles but also a special event pass and special game modes for the event period from February 27 to March 13, 2025
However, the excitement of the players is not about the content itself, but rather its prices in the shop. If you want to get all the Turtles’ skins, you’ll have to pay over $80, and the premium version of the event pass costs another $10. “Despicable,” is how one user on Reddit describes it:
Activision casually glossing over the fact that they want you to pay $80+ if you want the 4 Turtles, plus another $10+ if you want the TMNT event pass rewards. Call of Duty’s Gross greed strikes again… DISGUSTING!

Under the post, many are annoyed by the high prices and users the-mighty-kong and
even adds that these purchased skins may not even be transferred to the next CoD.
CafeHueyLong replies: “Lending skins is crazy, the more you think about it.” The opinion is also shared by LowCost_Gaming : “Skins as a Service… until they’re not anymore.”
What exactly is in the event?
Each Turtle received a separately available bundle. In addition to the Operator skin, each bundle contains the famous weapon of each Turtle for close combat, a finisher, two weapon blueprints, and a few minor cosmetics.
The Event Pass contains two Operator Skins, a melee weapon, and other cosmetics at the free tier, The Splinter Cell skin and most of the weapon blueprints can be found at the paid premium level, .
The two event modes, one each for multiplayer and zombie mode, are playable at no additional cost. Of course, the skins and other cosmetics are optional for playing. But playing a Turtle-themed mode in a Donatello or Leonardo shell is somehow cooler, of course. Activision knows that too.
