What are gaming glasses?
Gaming glasses protect the eye from too much strain on the screen. Gamers:inside sit in front of the screen for a long time and due to the high focus they blink much less often. These are various factors that pose a challenge to the eyes. The glasses cannot take over the blinking, but they can filter out the strong blue light, which is particularly hard on the eyes.
What does the blue light do? It glows blue. What’s more, blue light is one of the short-wave colours that causes particular strain on our eyes. So if you stare at a screen for a long time and always get eye pain afterwards, you should consider buying one.
Gaming glasses just for gaming?
It’s fair to say that the term gaming glasses is largely marketing. After all, the glasses are for anyone who has to sit at a computer for long periods of time, hang out on a mobile phone or stare at another screen at close range for hours on end.

The choice is a matter of taste
In the end, it’s a matter of taste. Just like with reading glasses or sunglasses, you decide for yourself which “gaming glasses” you like best. Gunnar’s glasses will cost you up to 80 euros. If you want to spend less, take a look at Horus-X and Duco. There you can also get glasses with the appropriate filter for less money and therefore do not go wrong.
