Little is known about the multiplayer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. A leak shows a date for a possible unveiling.
Leaker Tom Henderson seems to have new clues about the announcement of the multiplayer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 since Monday. This is supposed to be unveiled as early as the beginning of September.
Activision’s habits should give a clue as to the date, according to Henderson. Multiplayer for Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard were also revealed in September. According to Henderson, Activision prefers a fairly late reveal in recent years and so it could be the case with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
After all, the multiplayer beta is probably also planned for late September, according to Henderson. This would make the test phase available shortly after the unveiling. So far, however, it is said that it has not yet been determined how the mode will be unveiled and what Activision has planned for it. However, it could be announced in a livestream with interviews with the developers.

So far, Activision has not shared any official information with fans. The game publisher is also keeping a low profile about a possible alpha. Nevertheless, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on 28 October. If the beta actually starts in September, then fans will have plenty of time to test it before the actual release.
