Release: When does Season 1 start?
Season 1 starts on December 6, 2023 at 6 pm time. From then on, new maps, modes and other updates will be available to you.
Maps: Which multiplayer maps are coming with Season 1?
According to Infinity Ward, a total of six additional multiplayer maps will be released in Seasons 1 and 2, presumably three per season. Season 1 will feature three new 6v6 maps. Two of them will be available from day one, while one will be available later in the season:
- Meat (Season 1 Launch): Welcome to the slaughterhouse! It’s time to get down to business in a cramped factory.
- Greece (Season 1 Launch): Sun, feta and a hail of bullets – what more does a CoD fan need to be happy?
- Rio (Season 1 Reloaded): You should always be on your guard on the winding streets and in a shopping center.
Warzone: New map Urzikstan coming with Season 1

Warzone will also receive updates to the game mechanics with Season 1 and will be brought up to date with the gameplay of Modern Warfare 3 This includes the adapted movements from the new multiplayer such as slide canceling or the tactical stance

Modes: What else is changing in multiplayer?
In Season 1, a game mode that is very popular with fans returns: the extremely fast 2v2 Gunfight! In this turn-based mode, you have to defeat the opposing team with randomly assigned equipment. The particularly exciting part: You only have one life per round, so thrills are guaranteed
In Season 1, well-known maps from previous Gunfight implementations are set to return. Exactly which ones will be revealed soon. But we are talking about returnees
The Zombie mode is also getting an update with new events for the endgame, the new weapon Friend Zone and a new category of blueprints.
Weapons: What weapons are in Season 1?
With each season, new weapons are added, but it is not yet officially known which ones will be in Season 1 of CoD Modern Warfare 3. But data miners already want to have found out what the new supply will look like – and usually they are always right with CoD.

Battle Pass: What do we know about the Season 1 rewards?
A new Battle Pass with 100 levels that you can unlock starts with every season. You need the paid version to collect all the rewards, but new weapons are usually also included in the slim, free version. You can also use your rewards in Warzone
It is not yet known exactly what will be included in the Battle Pass for Season 1, but we expect the usual bonuses: XP boosts, CoD points, Operator skins, cosmetic accessories and weapon blueprints.
