You can already buy Call of Duty: Vanguard now! But what are the differences between the individual editions? Find out here!
On 5 November 2021 Call of Duty Vanguard will be released for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X-S and PC! However, you can already buy it now and benefit from some pre-order bonuses. Here you can find out what the individual editions have to offer and everything else you need to know before buying the game!
This edition is right for you!
When you buy, you have the choice of a number of different editions, each with a different scope and smaller bonuses such as skins to help you stand out from the crowd in multiplayer battles. In total, you have the choice between three versions.
Standard Edition
As the name suggests, this is the normal version of Call of Duty Vanguard. With it, you get access to a version of the game and also receive a special weapon bundle
Console players in particular should be careful here, though. The standard version is the PS4 or Xbox One version. You can also play it on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, but only in backward compatibility mode. If you want to fully exploit the better hardware of the new consoles, you have to buy the cross-gen version.
There are no such version differences on the PC. Here you already get the best possible graphics with the standard edition. If you have a slightly older computer, you can easily adjust the options individually and thus create a balance between frame rate and graphic quality.
Cross-Gen
With the cross-gen version of Call of Duty Vanguard, you not only get the Playstation 4 and Xbox One version, but also the respective next-gen counterpart for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. On the modern consoles, you benefit from a higher frame rate, improved graphics and shorter loading times.
You can also buy the cross-gen version on the PC. However, this is only worthwhile if you want to play on one of the NextGen consoles at the same time or have a five-hour experience point booster for your weapons. Because you already have access to all graphics settings with the standard version.
Ultimate Edition
With this bundle you get absolutely everything Call of Duty Vanguard has to offer. It contains the cross-gen version of the game including all bonuses, but also gives you the Task Force One Pack and the Battle Pass Bundle. In addition to five hours of double weapon XP, you also get a general five-hour experience point booster.
This is what’s in the Task Force One Pack: Only in the Ultimate Edition do you get a range of exclusive skins for three of the operators as well as three special weapon blueprints with special tracer ammunition and eight predefined attachments.
- “Shepherd” skin for 2nd Lieutenant Lucas Riggs of the 20th Battalion, Australian Military Forces.
- “Arctic Shadow“-Skin for Lieutenant Polina Petrova of the 138th Rifle Division, Red Army.
- “Bomber” skin for Captain Wade Jackson of Reconnaissance Squadron Six, United States Navy.
- “Breacher” assault rifle: A real all-rounder, but best suited for fighting in tight spaces. Thanks to its attachments it can shoot as fast as many SMGs.
- “Snowstorm” Rifle: A weapon that is best suited for long range use and can easily take out enemies with just one shot thanks to its armour piercing ammunition.
- “Thunderhead“Submachine Gun: An extra accurate submachine gun with an extended 9mm magazine and high rate of fire.
Bonuses of the Battle Pass Bundle: As an added bonus, you will also receive the first Premium Battle Pass including 20 Tier Skips, which will allow you to unlock each reward much faster.
The special bonuses for pre-orderers
Whichever edition you choose, you will also receive numerous pre-order bonuses if you purchase Call of Duty Vanguard before its release on 5 November 2021. These include a Masterwork weapon, the Frontline Pack and an additional operator, as well as access to the beta.
- Night Raid Mastercraft weapon blueprint: A submachine gun with a fighter design
- Shredder: This submachine gun is ideally designed for medium-range combat and can even compete with some assault rifles.
- Wildwood: Another bump-firing submachine gun that excels in close combat.
- Arthur Kingsley: You will receive the operator Sergeant Kingsley from the 9th Parachute Battalion of the British Army for the multiplayer mode.
- Beta access: You can already play Call of Duty Vanguard in the open beta before release. As a pre-orderer you will get access before everyone else. Playstation players will be the first to enter the fray
