There have been some rumours surrounding Call of Duty: Warzone 2, with a leak now suggesting similarities to the popular Rebirth Island map.
The successor to Call of Duty: Warzone does not yet have a release date. Nevertheless, the rumour mill is bubbling furiously. The well-known insider Tom Henderson has a first glimpse of the second map of Warzone 2 on Tuesday.
Henderson has already created a first sketch of the map of Warzone 2 in cooperation with Try Hard Guides. This map is said to be based on South America in its design. However, the insider has new information up his sleeve about the second map in the planned successor to Warzone. The map is said to be similar in size to the popular map Rebirth Island.
According to Henderson, development on the second map of Warzone 2 has already begun. The insider was apparently able to take a first look at the map in the game menu. However, it would not be playable yet. It would be comparable to Rebirth Island, which was released for the first time in 2020 during Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War.

According to Henderson, the map could be released in the second year of Modern Warfare 2 if the developer studio sticks to custom. As a result, the map might not be expected until December 2023. Nevertheless, the release of Warzone 2 is expected a few months after Modern Warfare 2, which is scheduled for release in October 2022. Therefore, the new Battle Royale could be expected in December or even January.
