Season 7 Modern Warfare and Warzone?!

There seems to be no Season 7 left for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Nevertheless new content continues to appear, as one developer confirmed. We are collecting all information.

Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is over, the Battle Pass expired on November 23rd. How does it go on now? Will there be another Season 7 or will the developers say goodbye to regular updates? And what happens with Warzone now? We answer the most important questions and collect all the information that is known so far.

Is there a 7th season coming? Although there were some hints and Dataminer supposedly discovered another Season 7, it doesn’t look like it at the moment. So far no start date has been published, there is no roadmap or announcements.

So there will be no new content?

Yes, new content for Modern Warfare is still being released. This was confirmed by a lead VFX artist from developer Infinity Ward on Twitter. However, it remains unclear how exactly this will happen in the future.

What new content will appear for MW?

That is unknown so far. Players discovered some discovered some weapons that are not yet accessible in the normal game. Possibly these will be unlocked. Also the butterfly knife announced in the roadmap of Season 6 is still missing.

Is there a new Battle Pass for MW?

It looks like Warzone is joining the season model of Cold War. The 1st Season starts on December 10th and on this date all weapons of the new CoD will be available in Battle Royale. More seasons for Cold War are confirmed, so you can expect major updates in Warzone every few weeks.

What new content will Warzone get?

The operators from Cold War are already playable, and all new weapons will also be available in Battle Royale, which will significantly increase the arsenal. The AK-47, for example, will be available in a double version. It is not yet known whether the new map, which is eagerly awaited by fans, will also appear. However, the indications are increasing.

Of course we will keep you informed as soon as there are new announcements. At least now it is clear: Modern Warfare will continue to be supported, even if in a different way than before. The shooter is still running strong, although the successor Cold War has already been launched.
