Here we give you tips for a powerful StG44 loadout in CoD Warzone. First, you’ll need to unlock a lot of essays, but many Vanguard players should have already done that. Read on for our best StG44 setup
Our strong StG44 loadout
The goal of this Warzone loadout: Your StG44 should be effective especially at medium and long range. This is because on the new Pacific map Caldera, similar to Verdansk, you often fight over longer distances. However, it can still happen that you miss despite perfect aiming – Bloom is the magic word, but it will soon be removed.
Accordingly, the loadout sacrifices some agility and speed for more precision and control. In addition, a large magazine is crucial in combat, as you often have to deal with entire squads and the time to kill is longer than in regular Vanguard multiplayer due to armour.
This setup should serve you well:

- Muzzle: MX silencer

- Magazine: 8mm 60-shot drums

This StG44 loadout makes the gun a beast at long and medium ranges, shining with both accuracy and good control. The silencer not only makes you quiet, it also improves the accuracy of the StG44. The dual sights give you 4x and 1.5x magnification and allow you to operate at close range in an emergency.

Whether you should choose extended or full metal jacket ammunition can be very situational. With full metal jacket bullets you can shoot effectively through thin cover, while the extended ammunition is even more accurate at long distances because it increases the bullet velocity. We therefore recommend using extended ammunition.
Among the weapon extras, Vital is currently considered a very powerful perk. It increases the critical hit range, which can lead to very quick kills if you shoot accurately. With the second extra surplus you secure additional experience points for your (hopefully numerous) kills.

Matching Perks for your StG44 meta
To dust off kills as unmolested as possible, take your cue from these perks and gear for CoD Warzone:
- Cold Blooded: You are protected from AI targeting systems and thermal sights. Also, you do not trigger the Alert warning when you appear outside of an enemy’s field of view and also ignore the Combat Scout perk.
- Mind: You cannot be located by radar systems, drones and the ubiquitous heartbeat sensor.
- Eager: You can switch to your secondary weapon more quickly. Important if you use a pistol like the currently overpowered tilt-barrel revolver in Akimbo for close combat.
- Semtex: The grenade with timer sticks to surfaces and enemies, making it accurate and deadly.
- Smoke Grenade: Being able to obscure the enemy’s vision with smoke is enormously helpful when you come under fire in the open field, revive a teammate or want to make an attack.
Matching sidearms
This all depends on your playing style. To go with our featured StG44 meta, we recommend a powerful pistol like the pimped-out submachine gun or – if you’ve already levelled up that far – the tilt-barrel revolver in the Akimbo. With it, you can easily dismantle enemies in close combat.
If you swap the spirit perk for overkill, an MP or shotgun is also suitable for close combat. Or you can even take a sniper rifle with you if you can also use your StG44 at close range. Experimentation can pay off!
