A new exploit is causing a stir in Warzone. The Red Doors are supposed to reward players, but now bring a quick death

In CoD Warzone there is again cause for displeasure. The popular Battle Royale format has recently been struggling with numerous exploits. With every patched glitch comes a new one – or so it seems. With the start of Season 4, the mysterious Red Doors were also brought into the game.

The red doors serve as a kind of fast travel portal and also beckon with fantastic loot. Cheaters have now found a way to exploit the actual function of the doors and ambush careless players.

In addition to the aforementioned doors, other new features have of course been introduced with the fourth season. We have summarised the most important information for you in the following article:

Red Doors become a death trap

The red doors can appear in a variety of places. As the news site CharlieIntel reported, players have already been able to identify 30 different spawn points. How many doors appear per round and where exactly they can be found is up to chance in each round.

How do the Red Doors actually work? If you go through one of the doors, you will be teleported to a random point on the map. There you will find yourself in a safe room that holds profitable loot. Here you can find the best weapons, plenty of ammunition, advanced UAVs and more. Accordingly, many players try to find these doors.

Actually, you should be protected from attackers in these rooms. However, cheaters have now found a way to get under the floor of these rooms. The exploit allows them to take out unsuspecting players without being seen. The cheater can only be seen in the killcam, as a clip from reddit user Tugger789 illustrates:

According to the developers’ Trello board, the team behind Warzone seems to be aware of the problem and is already working on a solution. Warzone has recently been plagued by an increasing number of exploits that allow players to operate outside the map. But that’s not all. Just recently, a funny yet nasty glitch caused a stir: players found a way to play dead in order to set the perfect ambush.
