The rumours surrounding the next CoD entry don’t stop. So Vanguard is also said to bring a new anti-cheat system, which could even help the cheat-plagued Warzone.

The next Call of Duty entry should help the cheater-plagued Warzone. It would be high time.

So slowly the rumour mill around Call of Duty: Vanguard is boiling over. Hardly a day goes by without a new tweet from a known leaker causing a stir. Shortly before the presumed reveal of Vanguard, the rumour mill continues with the next alleged information, which revolves around a very important topic: protection against cheaters in multiplayer mode.

New anti-cheat system for Call of Duty

The latest info rag comes from Tom Henderson, who is known for his leaks around CoD. According to him, Vanguard will also bring an all-new anti-cheat system to the multiplayer portion, which has been in development for over a year now.

But that’s not all: according to Henderson, Warzone will also receive this new protection system. However, he does not mention a time frame for the implementation. Should this rumour prove true, many long-suffering fans would probably cheer.

For Warzone has gained sad notoriety for its ever-expanding cheater problem. The developers at Raven Software can’t really come up with effective measures either, but are already complaining that the cheaters are ruining their heart project.

One can only hope for the fair-minded fans of the Battle Royale shooter that these rumours about the new anti-cheat protection are true and that the system will be integrated in the near future. Recently, a cheat portal even called a free trial weekend, which of course didn’t help either. Because of this, Warzone was almost overrun by the unfair mob:

When is Vanguard coming?

Call of Duty: Vanguard is supposed to be unveiled soon. Rumours are currently circulating about a reveal shortly before gamescom, which takes place from 24 August 2021 to 26 August 2021. So maybe fans will only have to sleep a few more times until they get to see the next part of the series with their own eyes.

Would you be happy about a new anti-cheat system in Vanguard and Warzone? Or are you afraid that these efforts on the part of the developers won’t work either? Drop us a line in the comments and let us know what you think!
