A US soldier has suffered a leg injury due to a freak out during a game of Call of Duty: Warzone.

Soldiers in the US military are allowed to play Call of Duty: Warzone in their spare time. However, for the streamer “TheDannyHammer”, who was streaming from a military base at the time, a match ended with a dislocated knee. A superior then banned his children from playing CoD.

The accident of the soldier, who is active in the US Navy, already happened a year ago. During a match in Call of Duty: Warzone, the Twitch streamer was eliminated. Afterwards, TheDannyHammer let his emotions run free and shouted at his teammate that he had not pushed along with him. As he did so, the US soldier jumped up and down several times. This caused a muffled sound to ring out.

Suddenly, the streamer fell to the side and the viewers:inside his livestream only hear TheDannyHammer saying that he had broken his leg. The US soldier then ended the stream. One year after the accident, Twitter user “Jake Lucky” has new information about TheDannyHammer’s health.

The Twitch streamer will make a full recovery from his injury. However, the twisted knee was quite a spectacle in his unit. Even his commanding officer showed it to his children afterwards. They were banned from playing Call of Duty because of it.
