Did a judge from the USA accidentally reveal the release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III? We’ll follow the trail for you.
Speech is silver, silence is gold, the saying goes. A saying that a federal judge from the USA has probably never heard before. Did the lawyer blab during the hearing between the FTC and Microsoft and accidentally reveal the release date of Modern Warfare III?
Oops, my bad
I guess it wasn’t planned that way. During a hearing to clarify Microsoft’s possible acquisition of Activision Blizzard, one of the judges apparently blurted out the possible release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
During the final discussion on 29 June, a federal judge probably unintentionally revealed the possible release window for the new Call of Duty title.
November is supposed to be the date, which confirms previous rumours about a possible release on November 10.
During the US FTC vs Microsoft hearing, the Federal Judge just confirmed Call of Duty 2023 launches in November. (Rumor was Nov 10, 2023).

Although Activision has not yet confirmed the date, there is much to suggest that the loquacious judge was correct in his statement, as he does, after all, have access to internal documents of the company.
Silent approval from Activision?
The official Twitter account of Call of Duty apparently took the judge’s statement with humour and commented a little later with an eye emoji, which is interpreted by many as a silent confirmation of the release date.
