Some time ago Activision announced that there will be no new Call of Duty on the market in 2023. Still, there will be something for the fans.
According to insider “RalphsValve”, Activision is planning to release several revamped titles. These include the parts: “World at War”, “Call of Duty 1” and “Call of Duty 2”. For nostalgics, this could mean lots of fun.

Remasters are a curse and a blessing. Many developers fail when revising.
In addition to remasters, Activision is probably also working on a Call of Duty release for the Switch. Presumably this is a compatibility upgrade for CoD 4, though this is not yet confirmed.
Isn’t CoD 4 remastered already playable on next gen?
