The CDL Championship Weekend 2022 is just around the corner and Infinity Ward has new details about CoD: Modern Warfare 2 there.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is already in the starting blocks. Soon there should be more and new information about the latest part of the series. During the Call of Duty League (CDL) Championship Weekend 2022 on Sunday, there will be renewed glimpses of Modern Warfare 2.

The CDL Championship Weekend 2022 runs from August 4 to 7 and on the last day of the event, the Infinity Ward development team has a surprise in store for all CoD fans. New information about Modern Warfare 2 will be shared and it might give a first clue about the start date for the Open Beta.

However, no further details are known about what the developer studio has in store for Call of Duty fans on Sunday. Infinity Ward could also simply be delivering new glimpses of the campaign, or indeed the multiplayer. However, according to insider Tom Henderson, there should be no announcement for the multiplayer until September.

In addition to the new information on Modern Warfare 2, the finals of CDL Championship Weekend 2022 will actually take place on Sunday at the Galen Center in Los Angeles. Fans can watch both the final and the new information on Modern Warfare 2 via the dedicated livestream on YouTube. The stream is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Sunday.
