Minnesota RØKKR made a bit of history in the Call of Duty League. Never before has the CDL seen a comeback like this!
On 01 August the finals of Major number 5 of the Call of Duty League started in Arlington, Texas. It was the last tournament of the regular season before the CDL Championships taking place in August.
Minnesota RØKKRs’ had already qualified for the grand final via the Winner Finals, while Chicago Optic, Empire Dalls and Toronto Ultra still had to earn their way into the final via the Elimination Finals.
Although Minnesota was already in the finals, there were increased voices from the community that they would still fail to win over one of the three presumptive teams.
