All eight participants of the Call of Duty League Championship have been determined. In addition to the trophy, a prize pool of 2.5 million US dollars is at stake.

The Florida Mutineers have secured the eighth and final spot in the Call of Duty League Championship (CDL Championship). The team punched their ticket to Los Angeles on Sunday with a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Guerillas. The championship will take place from 19 to 22 August and will pay out prize money of 2.5 million US dollars.

In the ranking of the twelve teams, Atlanza FaZe is currently leading with a total of 485 points. This has given them a huge lead over second-placed Team Toronto Ultra, who are 155 points behind. FaZe will therefore start with the highest seeding only in round two of the playoffs.

The second starting spot in the championship is currently still being fiercely contested and also means a bye for the opening round of the playoffs. Four teams are still in the running for it: Toronto Ultra, Dallas Empire, New York Subliners and OpTic Chicago.

The teams that finish the regular season in third to sixth place will start the tournament in round one of the Winner Bracket. Seventh and eighth place will start in the Lower Bracket, where any loss would mean elimination. Currently, Minnesota, Los Angeles and Florida are still fighting for sixth place and thus for a place in the Winner Bracket.

These teams will play in the CDL Championship:

– Atlanta FaZe
– Toronto Ultra
– Dallas Empire
– New York Subliners
– OpTic Chicago
– Minnesota Røkkr
– Florida Mutineers
– Los Angeles Guerillas
The winner of the CDL Championship will collect prize money of 1,250,000 US dollars. The time winner will receive 600,000 US dollars and the third place winner 300,000 US dollars.
