Because of various problems with the game, DrDisrespect doesn’t want to stream CoD Warzone anymore. But other games don’t make him happy either.
Streamer DrDisrespect is a controversial figure: some love him for his extroverted manner and his loud performances, while others are annoyed by just that.
Without question, however, the man with the impressive moustache is one of the most influential streamers who are currently throwing themselves into the Battle Royale battles of Call of Duty: Warzone every day – until now. Because the doc has now had enough – and even called Warzone “unplayable”.
DrDisrespect hangs up Warzone on the nail
Since his spectacular switch from Twitch to YouTube, things have actually been going great for DrDisrespect. Every time he broadcasts, tens of thousands of viewers watch him dominate the games, mainly in CoD Warzone – true to his motto “Violence. Speed. Momentum.”
However, while many players like the innovations of Season 3 in the best way and the revamped Verdansk 84 map also gets a lot of love from the community, the well-known streamer currently sees many problems:
“In case it’s not obvious – which it should be: I’m not interested in playing this game anymore. Especially with this map and this season, it just doesn’t grab me anymore.”
The first reason DrDisrespect cited was the behavior of opponents, who in his opinion rely too much on cheap cheese tactics (such as camping):
“I really need to stop playing it and I will. It’s just such a bland experience for me. Those little cheesy shits get me down. It’s stuff I just don’t want to deal with anymore.”
But his frustration didn’t end there. A lost firefight due to connection difficulties finally freaked him out:
“Man, my connection is going crazy. Did you guys see that? I didn’t even move and I slid off the stairs. No kidding. You’ve got to be kidding me. It’s unplayable.”
You can watch his freak-out in the following video starting at 4:36:00, if you don’t mind the excessive use of expletives:
This is what DrDisrespect will play instead of Warzone
So last weekend, after a long break, Doc tried his hand at Playerunknown’s Battleground again, which is currently experiencing a second spring and even managed to conquer first place on the Steam charts:
In his stream, he immediately showed strong performances again: He secured a ready-to-be-beaten loadout consisting of M416 and Kar98k and thus made it to the last circle. Although he lacked a scope for the Sniper, the veteran even managed three kills with the rifle.
However, his joy quickly turned to anger after he was eliminated by a player with a UMP-45 submachine gun – even though he actually has the better weapons.
In a later match, the streamer was eliminated early because he tried to use a pistol against an enemy with a DP-28. That was enough to piss him off so much that he promptly kicked PUBG off his hard drive as well.
You can see the highlights of his brief return in the following video:
Next, his fans can look forward to games in Valorant and Apex Legends. How long he will stay with it and whether his departure from Call of Duty: Warzone is really permanent is currently still up in the air.
