The loot money mode finally makes its way into Warzone 2. We tell you everything you should know about the comeback.
The official Twitter account of Call of Duty has surprisingly announced the return of the loot mode. We tell you when it will finally start and what changes we can expect.
Long wait
The wait is over. After the release of Loot Money mode was postponed several times, we will finally be able to play the popular game mode, which is all about the green bills, from April 26.
The first hints of the mode’s return came back in December. A glitch in the game actually showed invisible landing points for helicopters, which are usually called to fly out captured money.
In February, during the presentation of Skins the next clue followed. The money indicator, normally located in the bottom left corner in loot money mode, suddenly appeared and caused confusion in the community.
After the Resurgence mode was reintroduced along with Season 2 back on February 15, we can finally welcome the Plunder mode to Warzone 2. However, if you were hoping that Ranked Mode would also be launched tomorrow, you will be disappointed. It will probably take at least until the release of Season 3 Reloaded.

This is new
The developers have decided to spruce up the mode in Warzone 2 a bit and have given it a few changes. Among other things, we can look forward to four new events and various new features that should make it a little easier for us to collect the filthy lucre.
During the Blood Money event, for example, we will receive double money rewards for taking out and looting enemies.
Events
- Blood Money
- Cannon Fodder
- Contactor
- Choke Hold
Two already known new features are the Credit Card and the Life Insurance While the former gives us 10% cashback from every purchase at a Buy Station, the life insurance ensures that we get to keep 50% of our accumulated money should we pass away involuntarily.
