Five new weapons
If the extensive selection of weapons is still not enough, you can look forward to new projectiles. The following weapons will be available through the Battle Pass and yet unknown challenges:
- Cooper Carbine: Assault Rifle (Battle Pass Tier 15)
- Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle: Sniper Rifle (Battle Pass Tier 31)
- Sawtooth: Close Combat (Battle Pass Tier 37)
- Katana: Melee (still unknown)
- Welgun: SMG (still unknown)
Two new Perks and a Lethal
The Battle Pass holds even more tactical equipment options. The following two Perks and a Lethal can be unlocked:
- Serpentine: Perk 1 (Battle Pass Tier 21). Sprinting reduces the damage received. A normal sprint reduces damage only slightly, Tactical Sprint can reduce it by over a quarter.
- Intuition: Perk 1 (Battle Pass Tier 44). Sight pulses when enemies are nearby, even through walls.
- Special Incendiary Grenade: Lethal Equipment (Battle Pass Tier 39). Darkens an area with white mist and burns those who get too close.
More Maps and Modes
While we’re heading into the Pacific War on Caldera starting Wednesday, more maps and modes await.
- Radar (available directly at launch): A revised version of the Modern Warfare 3 map Dome. A small radar station in the Pacific with many possibilities for close combat battles.
- Paradise (available directly at Launch): A weapons test site in the Pacific Ocean where all task force operators have gathered for joint exercises. The medium-sized map has three levels, an underground tunnel and pools of hazardous toxic waste.
- Control (available during launch): Game mode that mixes several elements of different modes: Search and Destroy, Team Deathmatch and Hardpoint all in one. Two teams take turns playing attacker or defender and have to capture or defend two predefined zones.
There’s a few stops along the way before we reach our next destination. ✈️ 🏝
