Qualification for the final CS:GO Major in Paris is underway, but one pro has already reached an impressive milestone
Since release, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive can look back on a long Esport history. There have always been new top teams or players who could ascend the throne. However, one player has always been there from the beginning and will now also be at the start of the last CS:GO Major.
10 years, 19 majors and a legendary pro
In the 10 years since the introduction of the Major system in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, there have already been 18 Major. In Paris, this long history will come to an end with the 19th Major, followed by the transition to Counter-Strike 2.
Of course, there have always been other top teams and players dueling for the crown of the CS world at the Major during this time. But there was one constant in all the tournaments:
The legendary Danish pro Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen.
Paris is in the book ✅
19 out of 19 possible majors attendedWhat a crazy ride it’s been.

dupreeh is the only player who has actually managed to qualify for every single major in CS:GO history!
Neither s1mple nor ZywOo or any other candidate for the title of best player ever can point to such a milestone.
Legendary highlights by dupreeh, such as at IEM Katowice 2017, along with the record, will definitely secure him a place in the Counter-Strike Hall of Fame:
No matter what, dupreeh is there
In all the years of his career, dupreeh has always been among the best teams to make it to a Major. Whether it was back in the first Major with Copenhagen Wolves as a cheeky challenger or then later with Astralis as a record 4 time winner and now finally with Vitality looking for the next big triumph.
dupreeh has always been an integral part of the world elite in Counter-Strike.

Now, as part of the French “home team” at the Paris Major, he even has the chance to become the sole record holder for Major titles. A storyline that, along with the long-awaited first Major win for superstar ZywOo alongside him, might just be the perfect ending to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive storyline.
