The BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 is already in full swing.
In the course of the Fall Groups so far, BIG lost twice to Heroic in the group and managed one win against the Evil Geniuses. Thus, the Germans ended up in third place in the group of four. Heroic beat FaZe Clan in the group final. BIG will now face G2 Esports in the play-in stage and would take a diversion via the Fall Showdown if they lose again. With further victories, the Berliners could move directly into the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals.

However, not only the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups is coming up for the Berlin organisation this still year, but also the ESL Pro League Season 16 and the qualification for the IEM Rio. The Pro League starts next week and the two European RMR tournaments take place in Malta at the beginning of October. In addition to BIG, the German organisations Sprout and MOUZ have also been confirmed as representatives at the competition.
The upcoming events and matches will be contested by BIG without Titian “tiziaN” Feldbusch. At the beginning of August it was announced that tiziaN would be leaving the BIG main roster after more than four years and would be replaced by Nils “k1to” Gruhne. As a result, tiziaN has been part of the Berlin team almost since the beginning. Currently, BIG is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
