It was only on 7 November 2021 that the final of the most recent top event was decided in Stockholm, Sweden, where Natus Vincere and superstar Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev were crowned champions for the first time.

The playoffs of the CS:GO Major in Antwerp will be held at the Sportpaleis. The multifunctional arena mainly hosts concerts as well as sporting events. Tickets for the playoffs, which will take place from 19 to 22 May, should be available soon. The event, sponsored by developer Valve, is endowed with one million US dollars in prize money.
Organiser PGL additionally notes that due to the ongoing pandemic, all details are being reviewed to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the CS:GO major. This is the first time that a Major event will be held in Belgium. The upcoming RMR competitions, through which professional teams can qualify for the prestigious tournament, will also be hosted by PGL. Further information about these qualifying tournaments is still pending.
