The German organisation Sprout announced on Twitter on Wednesday evening that oskar will leave the CS:GO team. His time with the team lasted only four months.
By mutual agreement, the Czech player Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný was officially dismissed from Sprout yesterday. According to a tweet from the professional, the reason for this was “different views in the game”.

The AWP expert came to Sprout together with the Polish player Paweł “dycha” Dycha in early January. At that time the team was looking for a replacement for Nils “k1to” Gruhne and Florian “syrsoN” Rische, who both changed to the German top team BIG.

Oscar’s future
By leaving Sprout, oskar is now a Free Agent again. The Czech has already played several times for the teams mousesports and HellRaisers. Among his greatest successes are the victory of the ESL One New York 2018 and the StarLadder StarSeries Season 4.

Currently it is not known whether a new team is already in prospect for him. However, according to his statement, the 28-year-old wants to stay with Counter-Strike.

New player for Sprout?
Also for Sprout it is not yet clear which player will replace the Czech. According to initial reports, the organization has made inquiries with the British Owen “smooya” Butterfield.

Looking at the in-game roles, this decision definitely seems to make sense. Furthermore, smooya has already gained experience in German teams at BIG and was a fan favorite there as well. A first teaser on Sprout’s Twitter profile seems to confirm this assumption.
