The BIG Clan has made an unexpected roster change. From now on, a young talent from their own academy team will play for k1to!

Now it’s official! After the IGL of the BIG OMEN Academy Team Karim “Krimbo” Moussa already filled in for Nils “k1to” Gruhne in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022: EU RMR Open Qualifier, he will replace him in the future!

Just recently Krimbo became part of the young talent team “BIG OMEN Academy”. Already when he was announced, he was described by the Berlin organisation as “one of the biggest German talents”. His performance both in the OMEN team and as a stand-in in the main team seem to have convinced the BIG Clan.

Krimbo Statement

Karim is so far the first player to be promoted from the junior team to the main team. In his statement he explains that he was extremely excited when he was told that he would be playing for the main team in the Major Qualifiers. The joy is now all the greater that he will get the chance to continue playing for the Main Team.  “I have big shoes to fill, but I am confident. Especially if we are successful in qualifying for the EU-RMR,” says the 19-year-old.

I was very excited when I heard the team wanted to play the Major qualifiers with me, and now very happy that I am being trialled by the team. I have big shoes to fill, but I am confident especially after successfully qualifying for the EU RMR. Thank you for all of the support and of course best of luck to my BIG OMEN Academy teammates moving forward!

The active roster of BIG now consists of the following players:

  • Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz
  • Tizian “tiziaN” Feldbusch
  • Florian “syrsoN” Rische
  • Josef “faveN” Baumann
  • Karim “Krimbo” Moussa

k1to the Academy Team for the first time

Nils “k1to” Gruhne will play for the BIG Omen Academy for the time being. According to the Berlin Esport Organisation, he is supposed to work on himself and prove himself again before there can be a supposed comeback to the main team.

If we receive any further information from BIG, we will of course keep you updated.
