Format
Group phase

In Europe, two group phases will be played out initially. Each game in round-robin mode is played as a best-of-3. The first players in the first phase move directly into the second round. For the second and third place finishers, a deciding game is played to move on to the next round.

Also in the second group phase, everyone plays against everyone else in a best-of-3 mode, after which the group winner advances directly to the European final. The second and third place finishers play a best-of-3 for a place in the final. The big final will then take place as a best-of-5.

The American division plays a different mode due to a smaller field of participants. After the group stage in the already mentioned Round-Robin-Best-of-3 mode, the four best teams qualify for the playoffs in North America. In the elimination matches, first and second place will be seeded in the Winner’s Bracket Final, while third and fourth place will start in the Lower Bracket. The American Championship will then be played out in double elimination mode. The final is also a best-of-5.
