The prestigious CS:GO event in Cologne will be decided this weekend. Six top teams will fight for the trophy of the IEM Cologne. The final will be broadcast live on ProSieben FUN.
Great excitement awaits the fans of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive already on Friday. In the final spurt of the Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2021, two quarter-final matches will decide who will contest the semifinals the following day. There is a lot at stake in one of the most important LAN events of the year, which will be held in Cologne
The famous organisations Astralis and Virtus.pro are battling it out in the quarter-finals for a return to the absolute top of the world. Even without the departed AWP star Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, the Danes from Astralis showed that they have lost little of their former CS supremacy. But against the resurgent Virtus.pro around Dzhami “Jame” Ali it will be anything but a foregone conclusion.
The first #IEM quarter-final match begins in just a few hours.

In the second semi-final, Natus Vincere around superstar Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev awaits. The opponent of the spectacular CIS team will be the winner of the second quarter-final: Gambit Esports will meet the much-improved FaZe Clan.
The winning team of the IEM Cologne will claim prize money of more than 330,000 euros. Also at stake are important ESL Pro Tour points and the BLAST Premier competition.
