That’s why the game is being made available for free for a limited time. However, only on the current console generations, while PC players are left out in the cold.

Play Cyberpunk 2077 for free – here’s what you need to know

When is Cyberpunk 2077 free to play?  The promotion starts on Thursday, March 28, at 4 pm and ends on Monday, April 1, at 9 am. So you have almost the entire Easter weekend to take a look at one of the best game worlds of all time.

Who can play the trial version? &nbspYou can only take part in the trial weekend on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, PC players will miss out. At least you don’t need an active subscription on your consoles and you can download and start the game without PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass.

What’s in the free version? According to the developers, you can try out the whole game without any restrictions – but only for five hours. So you can explore the open game world or try to progress as far as possible in the story. Five hours should at least be enough to experience the extremely exciting break-in at Konpeki Plaza at the end of the first act

Is it worth it? If you own one of the consoles mentioned and have not yet tried Cyberpunk 2077 or returned the game immediately after the disastrous launch: definitely!

The opportunity to roam the neon-lit streets of Night City at no extra cost doesn’t come along every day. And we can well imagine that many of you are keen to find out what happens after the spectacular robbery.
