The whole world is waiting for patch 1.5 and a sign of life for Cyberpunk 2077. Now there’s an official stream announcement. We tell you how you can participate.
It’s been quiet around Cyberpunk 2077. More than a year after release, many fans are still waiting for the big DLC announcements, for the next-gen update or generally for patches that improve and expand the game. Meanwhile, CD Projekt has been working quietly instead of trumpeting an update every fortnight.
But now a real sign of life is just around the corner: CD Projekt has announced a livestream that should (hopefully) provide a fundamental update on the current and future state of Cyberpunk 2077 on 15 February 2022.

Of course we recommend you to watch the livestream yourself, if possible, in order not to miss any detail. The most important dates for this:

How can I watch the livestream?
The internet foxes among you will already guess this, but the livestream for Cyberpunk 2077 will of course take place on the official channels of CD Projekt Red:

What will be the topic of the livestream?
CD Project itself does not classify the stream any further, but the clues are becoming denser and denser. Recently, the cover artwork for the next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 was leaked, which was originally supposed to be released in 2021, but was then postponed to the first quarter of 2022 … so now.
Sharp-eyed observers have also already noticed that Cyberpunk 2077 is now listed as “Optimised for Xbox Series X/S” on the Microsoft Store. And on Reddit, a (Spanish ad) has surfaced talking about a demo version for the CurrentGen consoles. The teaser image used in it matches the cover leak exactly:
It appears CDPR is going to offer some sort of free trial or demo of Cyberpunk 2077 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Patch 1.5 is also scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2022. So the timing for the big update is so ripe that CD Projekt’s silence can’t be a coincidence. Because if the stream was merely the award ceremony for the cyberpunk reading competition of class 8b, it would make so much more sense from a PR point of view to communicate this openly. Our prediction: Silence is potential gold here.
Should patch 1.5 actually be announced, we will of course provide you with the most important information immediately and plan a post-test for Cyberpunk 2077.
