The new update doesn’t bring any major new features, but fixes a whole range of problems. Here you can find the complete patch notes
Cyberpunk 2077 has received a new update. Patch 2.12 is not nearly as big as some previous updates. New features are in short supply, but the role-playing game is almost bursting at the seams anyway.
Nevertheless, the installation is of course recommended – especially for Steam Deck users. We have picked out a few highlights for you, the complete release notes can be found as usual on page 2.
All info about patch 2.12
Release & Size: The update went live on February 29 at 12 noon. On PC, your Steam, GOG or Epic Store version should update automatically. We do not yet know the exact size of patch 2.12, but given the changelog, it should be manageable even for slower lines
Patch 2.12 for Cyberpunk2077 and PhantomLiberty is being rolled out on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It focuses on main issues experienced by players after Patch 2.11, such as key bindings.

Highlights:
- PC-only: You can now assign the radio port and the dropping of unconscious or killed NPCs to a different key.
- Steam-Deck: The controller cursor is now more visible in menus and when using terminals in the game. In principle, all other platforms also benefit from this, of course. On the small Valve handheld, however, this added convenience should be particularly well received.
- Raytracing fixes: Several problems related to activated raytracing have been fixed, such as the extremely bright hair of NPCs when they are sitting in a vehicle.
- Xbox-only: Players on the Microsoft console can rejoice, because from now on loading their savegame should no longer end up in an endless state or even lead to a crash.
- Quest bugs: A whole series of bugs are a thing of the past, which you could encounter during missions and which could be detrimental to the atmosphere.
In our opinion, Cyberpunk no longer needs any major patches since the major update 2.1, as our video above shows. In it you can see how good the role-playing game has become.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt is already hard at work on the successor “Project Orion”. Several big names are involved in the development, including some who have already worked on Bioware classics. You can find out more in the box above.
