First things first
Why do I need to redistribute my attribute points?
After installing patch 1.5, you may have noticed that V is suddenly without distributed skills and you have to redistribute all attribute points. This is not a bug, but a conscious decision on the part of CD Projekt Red.
Because with patch 1.5, some perks disappeared from the game, some were added and some were slightly changed. Therefore, the developers have reset all your abilities so that you can redistribute them in Cyberpunk 2077. What exactly has changed is revealed in the following lines.
Stealth is now called Ninjutsu
Before you start distributing your skills again, an important note: You will no longer find the skill tree Stealth under Coolness. It was renamed Ninjutsu in the course of patch 1.5 because, according to the developers, it simply fits better to the abilities of this skill tree.
In the course of this, the Ninjutsu perk of this skill tree was also renamed and is now called On the Lookout, while the actual ability remains the same.

Which Perks are new
Patch 1.5 has added five new Perks to Cyberpunk 2077 – but not all of them are completely new. You might already know some abilities under a different name, which have now been combined or rebuilt. But it’s best to take a look at the following list yourself:
Constitution – Athletics
- Tenacious V (Passive, one level) : Health regeneration is not interrupted by enemy hits.
Technical Skills – Techie
- Wise Foresight (Passive, one level) : Previews the exact trajectory of ricochets when you aim with power weapons and have the Ballistic Coprocessor cyberware installed.
Coolness – Ninjutsu
- Juggling Talent (Passive, one level) : When you defeat an opponent using throwing knives or land a critical hit, the cooldown on all knives immediately ends.
- Eyes Open (Passive, One Level) : Hits to the head with throwing knives apply the Blinding effect to the target.
Coolness – Fighting Machine
Easy Way Out (Passive, Two Levels) : When Combat Engine is active, increases damage with ranged weapons by 10/20 percent against enemies within a five-metre range.
Which Perks have been revised?
Also, some of Cyberpunk 2077’s Perks have been adjusted with patch 1.5. How the abilities worked before the update and what they can do now can be seen in the following list:
Constitution – Athletics: Human Shield (Passive, one level)
- Prior to patch 1.5: Plus 20 percent armor while attacking an enemy
- After patch 1.5: Increases the chance of damage reduction by 25 percent while carrying an enemy, and the amount and level of damage reduction by 20 percent.
Constitution – Athletics: Epimorphosis (Passive, three levels)
- Prior to patch 1.5: Your health regenerates up to 70/80/90 percent outside of combat
- After patch 1.5: Increases your health regeneration threshold from 60 to 65770/75 percent in combat and to 100 percent outside of combat
Coolness – Ninjutsu: On a Razor’s Edge (Passive, Two Levels)
- Prior to patch 1.5: Throwing Knives deal 30/60 percent more damage
- After patch 1.5: After being hit with a throwing knife, increases melee damage to an enemy by 40/80 percent for six seconds
Coolness – Combat Engine: High Voltage
- Prior to patch 1.5: If your health drops below 45 percent, the maximum number of stacks Combat Engine will be activated
- After patch 1.5: If you take lethal damage while Combat Engine is active, death is prevented, all stacks of Combat Engine are consumed, 10 percent health per stack is restored, and you are immune to all damage for 5 seconds. Players cannot gain Battle Machine while this perk is active. Cooldown: 15 seconds
Coolness – Battle Machine: Battle Machine (Passive, Three Levels)
- Prior to patch 1.5: When you kill an enemy, the Combat Engine effect activates for ten seconds and your movement speed increases by 2 percent (one level only)
- After patch 1.5: After neutralising an enemy, you gain Battle Engine for 7 seconds and your movement speed increases by 2 percent. Can be stacked up to 1-/2-/3 times. The duration of each subsequent stack is 1 second shorter.
Coolness – Battle Machine: Killing Machine (Passive, Two Levels)
- Prior to patch 1.5: The maximum number of stacks for Battle Machine is increased by 1
- After patch 1.5: Increases the maximum number of stacks combat engine by 1/2.
Which Perks are out?
With patch 1.5 we have to say goodbye to some abilities. Some of them were simply not useful enough, duplicated with other perks or have now been converted into new abilities. So you will no longer find the following perks in Cyberpunk 2077 after patch 1.5, at least in this form:
Constitution – Athletics
- Good Cooperation : Increase damage when carrying a person
Technical Ability – Techie
- Lightning Bolt: Critical hit chance with tech weapons is increased by 3/6/10 percent.
Coolness – Ninjutsu
- Phantom Command: Underwater there is no danger of being detected
- Silent Finisher : Enemies with less than 15 percent health die instantly from knife attacks – except enemies several levels above you
Coolness – Fighting Machine
Indestructible: The maximum number of stacks of Fighting Machine is increased by 1
How to check your old builds
If you want to check how you distributed your attribute points before patch 1.5, we have a hot tip for you: reset Cyberpunk 2077 to the state before the last update and take screenshots of your skill trees, which you can use as a guide for the redistribution.
But be careful! Keep in mind that bugs that have already been patched may reappear if you decide to downgrade.
