Diablo 4: New trailer for Season 2 is full of bugs, now Blizzard pulls the ripcord

The video for the second season of Diablo 4 should actually show some improvements, but fails significantly due to content errors.

Blizzard actually only wanted to show in a short trailer which great improvements the players can look forward to in Diablo 4 . However, as some fans were quick to point out, the video was riddled with content errors

The streamer and Youtuber (Raxxanterax) didn’t hesitate long either and published a short but quite amusing video in which he summarises all the inconsistencies of the trailer. It didn’t take long for Blizzard to make the decision to take the trailer offline again.

A video on X, that was probably nothing

On X, formerly called Twitter, the trailer was visible for a short time on the (official Diablo account) . You can watch excerpts of the video in Raxxanterax’ video:

As he points out there, the following are incorrect:

  • Wrong allocation of maps: The dungeons have been reworked and should now have a better layout. For this the video shows a before and after picture… but there Before and After have been mixed up – so the new level design is shown here as the old one.
  • Faster horse: Our mount is supposed to move much faster now, here’s also an extra before/after comparison … but in the video it looks like the steed hasn’t become any faster.
  • Math problem: You get more experience points! For this, it is even shown quite transparently how the XP numbers are made up … but the results are completely wrong from a purely mathematical point of view. In the first calculation, it seems that they didn’t multiply, but added. What went wrong in the second calculation is not quite so obvious – but it is definitely not correct.

Raxxanterax meanwhile can hardly hold himself in laughter in the video and says: Blizzard, I’m really trying to be hyped for the Season here, but you’re making it really hard for me!

If you want to know more about the Season of Blood, you’ve come to the right place. Here above you can find an insight from the developers as a video!
