If you miss the Diablo 4 beta, you’ll also miss out on one of the cutest cosmetics ever seen in the series.
For Diablo fans, the weekend can’t come soon enough. On 17 March, the first beta phase for Diablo 4 finally starts, in which more people are allowed to participate than ever before. On the weekend after that, the beta will even be completely open, so basically everyone can have a look.
For most fans, the prospect of an entire weekend of Diablo 4 alone is more than worth it. Over two months before release, mind you. But Blizzard apparently wants to create even more incentives.
That’s why (the studio currently also likes to remind) that only beta players get an incredibly cuddly reward. This wolf pup:
Fans love this little baby wolf
In the comments on YouTube and Reddit the wolf cub makes Diablo fans melt by the dozen. Yet Diablo fans in particular usually love dark and bloody settings. But apparently, even with all the evil in the world of Diablo, there is always time for man’s best friend. (By the way, dogs can also be petted in Diablo 4).

If you too can warm your heart for this cuddly little creature and appreciate the thought of carrying your little friend on your back even when fighting the fiercest demons – then you definitely need to stop by the Diablo 4 beta.
How to get the Baby Wolf
To bag the Cosmetic, however, mere participation is not enough. You must also level up at least one class to level 20. This can take quite a bit of time, so expect about 4 to 5 hours of play time.
If you want to be particularly fast, you should grind effectively. How do you do that? Follow these tips:
- Be sure to follow the main story, you can get a lot of level-ups in a short time. If you’re not interested in the story in the beta, you can even click away from the cutscenes. In the finished game you will have to play the missions again anyway.
- Complete activities and quests that don’t take too much time. For example, smaller side quests or spontaneous events in the Open World.
- Don’t just go and slaughter monsters, that doesn’t give you nearly enough experience points.
As a rule, however, anyone with a little time should be able to reach level 20 without any major problems. The maximum level in the beta, by the way, is 25.
