New footage of Diablo 4 will be shown at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase. A rough release date has now also been set.
The successor to Diablo 3 finally got a window of a possible release date on Sunday. At the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase 2022, Diablo 4 was shown alongside Overwatch 2, Starfield and Ark 2 and announced for 2023.
For all Diablo fans, Blizzard had a new gameplay trailer ready at the showcase. The new class was also released – the necromancer joins the barbarian, druid, wizard and hunter in the hack and slay. The game is scheduled for release in 2023, but an exact date has not yet been announced.
The gameplay trailer shows the open world of Diablo 4 and the massive battles that await the players. In addition to massive bosses, there are countless hordes of monsters to slaughter. The world can be explored with a mount and the characters can be customised in many different ways with the editor. In addition, a beta version for Diablo 4 was announced.
Players:inside already have the chance to register for the beta of the hack and slay. On the (official website) of Diablo 4, it is possible to register for it via the option “Pre-Register“. However, a Battlenet account is required. When exactly this pre-registration will take place and for which platforms the beta will be available remains unknown. Diablo 4 is to be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC, as well as enabling crossplay.
