According to Diablo’s Executive Producer, you’ll be able to save your build and switch to another one on the fly
With the release of Vessel of Hatred, the team behind Diablo 4 seems to be ramping up the sheer number of features in the action role-playing game. We already know that mercenaries are coming to the game with the DLC. But on X (formerly Twitter), Diablo producer Rod Fergusson has now announced two more new features – both of which sound promising.
Specifically, it’s about preferred waypoints and finally the ability to switch between two saved builds
The armory returns?
On X, Fergusson was apparently in a chatty mood and confirmed in an answer to an X user that Diablo 4 will have a feature similar to the Armory in Diablo 3 . When asked about this exact feature, Fergusson responded with the words:We’re working on it!
So it’s almost certainthat sooner or later Diablo 4 will have the ability to easily switch between two or more builds. Fans have been asking for a feature like this for a long time
But we don’t know any details yetand a release doesn’t seem to be on the horizon either. We do not expect the armory to come into play together with the release of Vessel of Hatred
In addition,it will be exciting to see exactly how the whole thing works After all, reskilling in Diablo 4 costs gold, unlike in Diablo 3. Therefore, it may well be that switching between builds also comes at a price
Your favorite waypoint
The favorite waypoints were revealed a little more concretely. In response to a post by well-known Diablo expert Rob2628Fergussonconfirmed that such a feature will be integrated into the base game along with Vessel of Hatredon October 8th
Favorite Waypoints will allow you to travel to a waypointthat you have marked as your favorite with just one click. In the past, you could only use the T button to jump to the city in your current area. After the update, you can use it to immediately navigate to the waypoint you think is best at the moment
