After the beta, Blizzard announced an astonishing number of changes to the game, but has now launched the pre-order phase for the Free2Play offshoot of the Diablo series. This new trailer is intended to encourage players to sign up for the launch of the game now. If 30 million decide to do so, they will all receive a special cosmetic set. It remains to be seen whether this strategy will work.

The demon hunt for mobile has had a tough go of it with long-established fans since its announcement at Blizzcon 2018, and is also breaking with many an action role-playing tradition to secure a slice of the mobile market.

We were already able to convince ourselves in the alpha that Diablo Immortal is quite fun. It is supposed to be released in 2022, but there is no concrete date yet.
