The Diablo 4 player Wudijo has defeated the mighty world boss Ashava in the beta all by himself. Even Blizzard takes off its hat.
The pros always make everything look so easy. You”ll probably think the same of YouTuber Wudijo. In the last beta of Diablo 4 he defeated the world boss Ashava in an epic 1 vs. 1 duel – in hardcore mode, of course. He was able to defeat Ashava almost single-handedly in the previous beta. However, he was robbed of the final blow when another player joined the fight shortly before the end
-.
Now he has made up for this gap – and made it even more impressive! Instead of competing against Ashava at level 25 as in the previous beta, the server slam was limited to level 20 – so his abilities as well as his armour were significantly weaker. But you can”t see that at all on the pro player, Ashava has no chance against Wudijo.
Barely any of the big monster”s attacks hit the hunter, not even the time limit worries him: when Ashava”s life force expires, Wudijo still has a full minute left on the timer. And this time, no other player has stolen the kill from him either.
Blizzard is flabbergasted
At the beginning of Wudijo”s video, a clip is shown where game director Joe Shely claims Ashava is quite challenging. If you have difficulties, you can always switch to a lower difficulty level – of course Wudijo can only laugh about that.
But that”s not all: Community boss Adam Fletcher even challenges him directly: And Wudijo, we expect you to beat him solo.
For the defeated world boss Adam Fletcher now also congratulates him (on Twitter).
But Blizzard president Mike Ybarra also shows his admiration for this endeavour. On Twitter he even writes about it being time to buff Ashava yet.
Congrats to @wudijo on his hardcore solo kill of Ashava on World Tier 2!
