Why the Bloodfiend’s Arm is so strong
The Bloodfiend’s Arm is one of the new Colossal weapons in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and has quickly become one of the most popular weapons for Bleed and Arcane builds
The reason: It causes enormous bleeding damage and can therefore bring down even the toughest bosses in Elden Ring in no time at all.
With the right attributes and upgrades, the Bloodfiend’s Arm can deal over 7,500 damage with two charged attacks, making it one of the most powerful weapons in the entire game.

To get the Bloodfiend’s Arm, you have to start at the Place of Mercy at Cliffroad Terminus. From there, ride your horse Torrent up the broken structures to Prospect Town
A group of Bloodfiends awaits you at the top of this abandoned town. Defeat these enemies and one of them is guaranteed to drop the Bloodfiend’s Arm.

Attributes and scaling
To be able to use the Bloodfiend’s Arm properly, you need the following attributes:
- Strength: 28
- Skill: 11
- Arkan: 16
The weapon scales primarily with Strength and Arcane. Physical damage, on the other hand, scales with strength, whereby bleeding damage is particularly influenced by arcane
Optimal use of the Bloodfiend’s Arm
To maximize the full potential of the Bloodfiend’s Arm, you should apply aBlood Warscroll to the weapon and upgrade it with Forge Stones– ideally to the maximum of +25.
This increases the bleeding build-up and makes the weapon even deadlier. You should also try to use asmany heavy attacksas possible. These also generate a small blood area damage effect, which increases the bleeding damage even further.
