Rediscover the world of Diablo

At BlizzCon, tabletop specialist Glass Cannon Unplugged announced that it is working on a conversion with Blizzard’s approval

The manufacturer has already made a name for itself in gaming circles with other tabletop conversions of well-known titles, including Frostpoint and Dying Light. Now the action role-playing game from Blizzard is set to join the ranks. The official game description is:

The Diablo RPG will continue to explore the overworld and underworld of Sanctuary, providing adventures above and below ground with fan-favorite mechanics.

The price and an exact release date are not yet known. There is a reason for this, as a Kickstarter campaign is still pending before production to secure the necessary funding. However, Glass Cannon Unplugged is targeting 2024 for the market launch. Fitting, because that’s also when the add-on for Diablo 4 is due to be released:

The RPG rulebook, which is thematically oriented towards Diablo 4, serves as a companion to the tabletop game:

The RPG and the board game will support each other with interchangeable game components, shared accessories and complementary expansions with overlapping events in a fully integrated product line.
