Friday, October 1, 2021 is the official release day of FIFA 22, but if you can’t wait until the weekend, check out the “Twitch Rivals: eSoccer Aid for UNICEF ft. FIFA 22”. This is a FIFA 22 online tournament, the proceeds of which will be donated to UNICEF.
First FIFA 22 event on Twitch
With the “Twitch Rivals: eSoccer Aid for UNICEF ft. FIFA 22” officially kicks off the FIFA season and that directly with a star-studded line-up.
This charity event is a 2v2 tournament in which footballers, celebrities, creatives and players will take part. UNICEF ambassador David Beckham will of course also be there.
On Saturday 4 September 2021, the celebrity football event for UNICEF will take place for the tenth time, raising money for children from around the world who have been hit particularly hard by the Corona pandemic. For more information, visit the Socceraid homepage.
This year, the charity campaign will be taking to the virtual pitch for the second time. For spectators there is a Twitch reward.
Exclusive UNICEF FUT Jersey
To further extend the partnership with EA SPORTS, this event will be celebrated with a special FUT jersey. The exclusive jersey was designed in collaboration with artist Reuben Dangoor and will be available worldwide in FIFA 22 from 1 October 2021.
FIFA 22 players:inside can unlock and use the jersey by watching the Twitch Rivals broadcast for at least 60 minutes. For this to work, you must have your EA account connected to Twitch.
Soccer Aid World XI FC team with David Beckham
FIFA players from around the world will have the chance to play with David Beckham after the release of FIFA 22. For the third year in a row, a high profile Soccer Aid World XI FC team features Beckham in the game. The Soccer Aid World XI FC team is playable in FIFA 22’s kick-off mode and features some of the biggest names to have taken part in celebrity charity football:
