In the third week of April, the 30th edition of the Team of the Week in FIFA 22 already awaits us, and we have 23 players who could be part of it.
Besides Kylian Mbappe and a few exceptions, our prediction for TOTW 30 doesn’t look too rosy. We hope that at least our two 90+ strikers and with a bit of luck one or two other top stars will be in the mix on Wednesday!

After already scoring five goals last week, Paris Saint-Germain added another in their game against Clermont Foot at the weekend. In the end, it was 6:1 from the Parisians’ point of view. The attacking trio of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi single-handedly scored all the goals. Mbappe and Neymar each scored four goals, while Messi provided three assists. Since Neymar was already featured in last week’s TOTW 29, we see Mbappe in the lead. Nevertheless, the Argentine would also be a possibility.
In the duel between Europa League aspirants Lazio Roma and relegation candidates Genoa, the favourites around captain Ciro Immobile won clearly 4:1 in the end. However, the Italian not only captained his team, but also made the difference on paper with a hat-trick in the end. This also catapulted him to the top of the Serie A scorers’ list with 24 goals.
Two places higher up the table, Juventus Turin are still fighting for a place in the Champions League. With the 2-1 away win against Cagliari, the team took another important step in any case. The goals for the old lady were scored by defender Matthijs de Ligt and offensive star Dušan Vlahović. With very few good defenders convincing this week, de Ligt’s goal makes him a possible candidate for the TOTW.
Finally, the English league is also represented. In the clash between the two German coaches Ralph Hasenhüttl and Thomas Tuchel, there was a real shooting match with six goals. Unfortunately for the Southhampton coach, however, they all went to Chelsea FC and they lost 6-0. Besides the internationals Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, Mason Mount was particularly convincing. Due to his three goals, he is our candidate for TOTW 30.
