FIFA 22 TOTW 7

Although Manchester United keep stumbling, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently in top form. Will his two goals be enough to secure an inform

Besides Cristiano Ronaldo and a few exceptions, our prediction for TOTW 7 doesn’t look too rosy, yet a 90+player plus two TOTW cards is worth quite a bit. Winger Vinícius Jr. definitely doesn’t cut such a bad figure either. We certainly hope that one or two of the top stars will be there on Wednesday!

Prediction for TOTW 7

Top Candidates for Week 7

  • Cristiano Ronaldo OTW (Manchester United, Portugal) – 92
  • Ángel Di María (Paris Saint-Germain, Argentina) – 88
  • Vinícius Jr (Real Madrid, Brazil) – 85
  • Yannick Carrasco (Athletico Madrid, Belgium) – 85

After a previous four match winless run in the Premier League, Cristiano Ronaldo brought Old Trafford back to life. The Portuguese scored a stunning volley to make it 1-0 in United’s 3-0 win over direct rivals Tottenham and set up fellow striker Cavani for the second goal. Ronaldo is currently in strong form and could also get an inform after his POTM this week.

In France, OSC Lille came within a whisker of shocking the league leaders from Paris. However, after a 1-0 half-time score, the star-studded squad around Neymar and Messi turned up the heat and made it 2-1 before the end of the 90 minutes. However, it was not Messi or Neymar who were the decisive scorers. In the end, it was Ángel Di María who set up the equaliser to make it 1-1 and then ensured PSG’s victory with a goal of his own in the 88th minute. The Argentine therefore has a good chance of becoming an inform.

Last weekend, the Royal side around coach Carlo Ancelotti had to play away at Elche. In the 1:2 victory, it was the Brazilian Vinícius Jr. who ensured the decision with a brace. The winger thus scored twice again, after his goals against Donetsk in the Champions League, and has a good chance of an inform card on Wednesday.

City rivals Athletico Madrid also picked up three points this week. The team around Suárez and Griezmann consolidated their fourth place in the table with a 3-0 victory over Real Betis. Belgian international Yannick Carrasco was involved in two of the three goals. He scored the 1:0 goal himself with a punishing shot under the crossbar, and the 3:0 goal was set up by a beautiful crossfield pass. Carrasco could be in the TOTW on Wednesday after this performance.
